Looking for a Greece visa appointment from City of Westminster? Compare the London route and confirm the appropriate GVCW centre for your residence address. Greece Visa Alerts can notify you when a matching appointment is found, so you can check the opening and book through the official provider.
If you want an alternative to repeatedly checking an empty calendar, Greece Visa Alerts’ London appointment search offers optional paid notifications for matching appointments. You book any appointment personally through the official provider.
Check the centre and visa route
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. From City of Westminster, compare the London option and confirm the appropriate centre with GVCW before choosing alerts. Proximity alone does not establish eligibility.
This page focuses on tourism and short-stay Schengen type C applications. For a trip across several Schengen countries, Greece must be your longest stay, or your first country of entry if stays are equal. UK applicants need permanent or temporary UK residence permission valid for at least one month after their intended return.
When the calendar has no suitable date
First check that you are using the Greece route and the right application category. Decide which dates you could attend in person, and make sure you can reach the centre you have confirmed. A date is useful only if it fits your plans and you can prepare your application in time.
You can check GVCW’s official appointment portal yourself. The paid search starts after confirmed payment and notifies you when a matching appointment is detected. Email notifications are sent on this route. SMS is available where enabled, supported and possible, but carrier delivery is not guaranteed.
A notification does not reserve or hold an appointment. You must book personally through GVCW’s portal; neither notification nor booking speed is guaranteed.
Use waiting time to prepare
Read GVCW’s tourism guidance and check the linked tourism checklist for your case. Complete the online application form and print it; postal applications are not accepted. GVCW requires every applicant, including children and infants, to attend in person with an online appointment.
For tourism, the guidance lists a passport issued within the previous ten years, valid for at least three months after your return to the UK and containing two blank visa pages. It also lists two recent passport photographs. This is not a complete document list, so check the official checklist before your appointment.
Bring original documents and one photocopy of each. UK residence permit holders must provide a copy of their UK e-visa and a share code for visa purposes. Each family member, including each child, needs a separate application and supporting document set. Both parents should attend a minor’s appointment unless only one has parental authority or is the legal guardian.
Choose a date you can use
Before booking, confirm you can attend the centre and have time to prepare the documents. Print your appointment letter and bring it to the application centre, as GVCW instructs.
For tourism applications, GVCW says you may lodge your application up to six months before travel and no later than 15 calendar days before your intended visit. Do not assume a notification will leave enough time to prepare. If you are applying in another category, check its instructions rather than relying on tourism guidance.
Continue with GVCW or choose alerts
Use GVCW’s official information to confirm the centre and requirements for your application. If you have difficulty finding an appointment, its UK website lists +44 203 7938 626. Check provider instructions again before attending.
If you would like help monitoring for a date that fits your plans, start the London Greece appointment search. After confirmed payment, you receive matching notifications and book directly through GVCW.
