Looking for a Greece visa appointment from Cricklewood? Compare the London route and confirm the appropriate GVCW centre for your residence address. Greece Visa Alerts can notify you when a matching appointment is found, so you can check the opening and book through the official provider.
If you are looking for a suitable date, Greece Visa Alerts’ London appointment finder offers optional matching notifications. You still book through GVCW yourself. Use the waiting time to check your route and prepare to act on an opening.
Check the route before focusing on dates
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. From Cricklewood, compare the London option and confirm the appropriate centre with GVCW before choosing alerts. Proximity alone does not establish eligibility.
For a short-stay tourism application, the guidance describes a type C Schengen visa for a stay of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Applicants need permanent or temporary UK residence permission valid for at least one month after their intended return to the UK. For a trip across several Schengen countries, Greece must be the longest stay; if stays are equal, Greece must be the first country entered.
Prepare to complete the booking
Use the GVCW appointment portal to book. Every applicant, including children and infants, needs an online appointment and must attend in person. A notification reports a matching appointment but does not reserve or hold it. You must complete the booking personally through the official provider, and neither notification nor booking speed is guaranteed.
Before monitoring dates, decide which days you could realistically attend in London. Allow for work, caring responsibilities and the time needed to get your application papers in order. Keep the official portal accessible so you can move to booking if a date suits. A date is only useful if you can attend it and are ready to follow through.
Use a quiet calendar to get paperwork ready
If no suitable London dates appear, check that you have selected the right centre and tourism route. You can continue checking GVCW’s booking portal without using a paid notification service. In the meantime, download and review the provider’s tourism checklist. It is a practical way to identify what to assemble before an appointment becomes available.
GVCW’s tourism guidance asks applicants to bring original documents and one photocopy of each original. It also says an employment letter, not an employment contract, should be dated within one month of the application. Check the current checklist for your circumstances rather than relying on an old list or memory. Review documents that may expire or become outdated again as your appointment date approaches.
Make a plan for everyone attending
Each member of a family or group needs a separate application and supporting document set. Children and infants also attend in person, so plan for every applicant to be present on the appointment day. For a minor, GVCW says both parents should attend unless only one has parental authority or is the legal guardian.
Before leaving, check the appointment letter and GVCW’s current instructions. The provider says to print the appointment letter and bring it to the centre. Keep it with the originals, photocopies and completed application materials, rather than trying to gather documents at the last minute. GVCW collects applications for the Greek authorities; the Greek Embassy’s Consular Office assesses them.
Turn a notification into your next action
Greece Visa Alerts starts searching after confirmed payment and sends email notifications when it detects a matching appointment. SMS notifications are available where enabled, supported and possible, but mobile carrier delivery is not guaranteed. The service provides notification support; it does not assess your application or make the official booking for you.
If you would like help monitoring London dates while you prepare, start your London Greece appointment search. Keep your documents and booking access ready to act on a suitable date.
