Looking for a Greece visa appointment from Dudley? Compare the Manchester route and confirm the appropriate GVCW centre for your residence address. Greece Visa Alerts can notify you when a matching appointment is found, so you can check the opening and book through the official provider.
If Manchester is confirmed for your application, Greece Visa Alerts’ Manchester appointment search offers optional paid notifications when a matching appointment is detected. You can also check GVCW’s official booking portal yourself.
Check the centre and application route
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. From Dudley, compare the Manchester option and confirm the appropriate centre with GVCW before choosing alerts. Proximity alone does not establish eligibility.
This page focuses on tourism applications for a short-stay Schengen type C visa. GVCW collects applications on behalf of Greek diplomatic and consular authorities; the Greek Embassy’s Consular Office assesses them. For a trip involving several Schengen countries, Greece must be the country where you spend the longest time. If stays are equal, Greece must be your first country of entry.
Keep appointment searching manageable
Use the official GVCW appointment portal to book. If no suitable date appears, check that you have selected the correct application route and confirmed your centre. An empty calendar is a reason to keep looking, not evidence that another centre is suitable.
Paid matching notifications offer an alternative to repeatedly checking the calendar yourself. On this route, the search starts after payment is confirmed. When a matching appointment is detected, an email notification is sent. SMS notifications are available where enabled, supported and possible, but delivery by your mobile carrier is not guaranteed.
A notification is not a booking: you must book personally through GVCW, and a slot is not reserved or held for you. Decide which dates you could attend at your confirmed centre. You can continue checking the official portal without using paid notifications.
Prepare documents while you search
GVCW says to complete the online application form through its website, print it and bring it to the centre. Postal applications are not accepted. Print your appointment letter as well and take it with you. Having these items ready can make it easier to act when you find a suitable date.
For tourism, use GVCW’s tourism checklist to review the full requirements for your circumstances. General guidance includes a completed and signed form, passport, copies of passport pages, two recent photographs, proof of fully paid return flights and travel medical insurance. The stated minimum insurance cover is €30,000. It must cover the Schengen countries and intended stay, including emergency medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation.
Each family or group member needs a separate application and supporting document set. Children and infants must attend in person. Both parents should attend a minor’s appointment unless only one has parental authority or is the legal guardian. Children under 12 do not provide fingerprints, but still attend.
Check timing and residence documents
For short-stay applications, GVCW says you may lodge an application up to six months before travel and no later than 15 calendar days before the intended visit. Allow time to assemble your documents and travel to the confirmed centre; choose a date you can attend with your application ready.
If you hold UK residence permission, GVCW says it must remain valid for at least one month after your intended return to the UK. UK residence permit holders must provide a copy of their UK e-visa and a share code for visa purposes. If you have difficulty finding an appointment, GVCW directs applicants to contact its call centre; check the provider’s website for current contact details.
Choose your next step
Confirm your centre, then decide whether to use the official calendar alone or add notifications to your search. If Manchester is confirmed and you are ready to book personally when a match appears, use Greece Visa Alerts’ Manchester appointment search.
