Looking for a Greece visa appointment from Eastleigh? Compare the London route and confirm the appropriate GVCW centre for your residence address. Greece Visa Alerts can notify you when a matching appointment is found, so you can check the opening and book through the official provider.
If you are watching for London dates, Greece Visa Alerts’ appointment search offers optional notifications when a matching appointment is detected. You still book through GVCW.
London is listed, but check your centre choice
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. From Eastleigh, compare the London option and confirm the appropriate centre with GVCW before choosing alerts. Proximity alone does not establish eligibility.
For the tourism route, UK applicants need permanent or temporary residence permission valid until at least one month after their intended return to the UK. If you hold a UK residence permit, GVCW also requires a copy of your e-visa and a share code for visa purposes.
Use a quiet calendar to prepare
If the London calendar has no suitable date, decide which dates you could attend and organise your application while you wait. An opening is useful only if you can travel to the centre and prepare the required paperwork. Keep your travel plans and supporting evidence together so you can assess a date promptly.
Every applicant, including children and infants, must attend in person with an online appointment. For a family or group, each person needs a separate application and supporting document set. Check that everyone can attend the date you choose; one person’s appointment does not cover the rest of the group.
Check the tourism route fits your trip
A short-stay Schengen type C visa covers a visit of up to 90 days in the Schengen area over a 180-day period. If your trip includes several Schengen countries, Greece must be where you spend the longest time. If stays are equal, Greece must be your first country of entry.
Use GVCW’s tourism guidance and checklist to review the requirements. GVCW says the online application form must be completed and signed, then printed; postal applications are not accepted. Its guidance asks applicants to bring original documents and one photocopy. Check the current list against your own circumstances and application.
Get your documents ready
For tourism applications, GVCW lists passport conditions including validity for at least three months after your return to the UK, two blank visa pages and issue within the previous ten years. It also asks for a copy of the passport identification page and visa pages, plus two recent passport photographs. Check the provider’s checklist for the full requirements for your case.
GVCW lists travel medical insurance covering all Schengen countries and your intended stay, with minimum cover of EUR 30,000. It also asks for proof that round-trip flight tickets are fully paid. Review the checklist before submitting, and make sure your documents and arrangements remain suitable for your application date.
From a notification to a booked appointment
When you are ready, use the GVCW appointment portal. You must book online, attend in person on the appointment date, and print and bring your appointment letter. GVCW says applications may be lodged up to six months before travel and no later than 15 calendar days before the intended visit. These are application timing limits, not a promise of an available appointment.
Greece Visa Alerts starts searching after confirmed payment. When a matching appointment is detected, this email-enabled route sends an email notification. SMS is available where enabled, supported and possible, but carrier delivery is not guaranteed. A notification does not reserve or hold a date: you book personally through GVCW, and notification or booking speed is not guaranteed.
