A listed centre is not a local eligibility decision
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. Check the selected centre and application route in GVCW’s official appointment portal. If no suitable date appears, you can keep checking the official portal or use optional matching notifications. An opening at another centre does not, on its own, confirm that you are eligible to apply there.
The paid search begins after confirmed payment. When a matching appointment is detected, this route sends an email notification. SMS is available where enabled, supported and possible; mobile carrier delivery is not guaranteed.
Prepare the tourism application while you search
Use GVCW’s tourism checklist and current instructions to prepare your application. The provider says the form must be completed and signed. Its guidance lists a passport valid for at least three months after your return to the UK, issued within the previous ten years, with at least two blank visa pages.
The tourism guidance also lists a copy of the passport identification page and visa pages, two recent passport photographs, and original documents with one photocopy. It requires travel medical insurance covering all Schengen countries and the intended stay, with minimum cover of EUR 30,000 for emergency medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation. Make sure every applicant can attend
GVCW requires every applicant, including children and infants, to attend in person with an online appointment. Each family or group member needs a separate application and supporting document set. For a minor, both parents should attend unless only one has parental authority or is the legal guardian.
Print the appointment letter and bring it to the centre. If you hold a UK residence permit, GVCW says to provide a copy of your UK e-visa and a share code for visa purposes. Check that everyone can attend on the date before completing the booking.
