Looking for a Greece visa appointment from Sale? Compare the Manchester route and confirm the appropriate GVCW centre for your residence address. Greece Visa Alerts can notify you when a matching appointment is found, so you can check the opening and book through the official provider.
If you are considering Manchester, Greece Visa Alerts’ Manchester appointment search offers optional notifications for matching appointments. You can also check dates through GVCW’s official booking route.
Start with the right centre
GVCW lists Greece visa application centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Its appointment guidance says applicants should normally use the centre based on their residence address. From Sale, compare the Manchester option and confirm the appropriate centre with GVCW before choosing alerts. Proximity alone does not establish eligibility.
For applicants in the UK, GVCW requires permanent or temporary residence permission valid for at least one month after the intended return to the UK. If you hold a UK residence permit, its guidance also asks for a copy of your UK e-visa and a share code for visa purposes.
Check the tourism route fits your trip
This page covers tourism and short-stay Schengen type C applications. GVCW describes a type C visa as covering visits of up to 90 days in the Schengen area during a 180-day period. Its tourism guidance says you may lodge an application up to six months before travel and no later than 15 calendar days before your intended visit.
If your trip includes other Schengen countries, Greece must be where you spend the longest time. If you will spend equal time in each country, Greece must be your first country of entry. Check this against your itinerary before arranging an appointment.
Other purposes may have different requirements. GVCW lists categories including family members of EU, EEA or Swiss citizens and long-term National D visas. Do not rely on a tourism checklist for another category; GVCW says it cannot advise you on choosing a visa category.
If no Manchester date works
First check that you selected the Greece route, the intended centre and the right category in GVCW’s official appointment portal. If no date is suitable, you can keep checking the portal or use optional matching notifications.
GVCW directs applicants who have difficulty finding an appointment to contact its call centre. The number shown is +44 203 7938 626. As contact details can change, check the provider’s current information before calling.
Avoid planning around an appointment that is not booked. Every applicant, including children and infants, must attend in person on the date of an online appointment. Consider which dates you can genuinely attend before selecting one.
Get the application ready
Use GVCW’s tourism guidance to organise your application. The form must be completed and signed. GVCW asks applicants to bring original documents and one photocopy of each, so prepare both sets for the visit.
Review the tourism checklist for passport validity, blank pages, photographs, insurance and travel evidence. GVCW specifies insurance covering all Schengen countries and the full intended stay, including emergency medical care, hospitalisation and repatriation, with minimum cover of EUR 30,000.
Each person in a family or group needs a separate application and supporting documents. For a minor’s appointment, both parents should attend unless only one has parental authority or is the legal guardian. Check GVCW’s instructions for your circumstances.
How appointment notifications help
Greece Visa Alerts is an optional search service, not the booking provider. Searching starts after confirmed payment. When a matching appointment is detected, the service sends an email notification. SMS is available where enabled, supported and possible, but carrier delivery is not guaranteed.
You book personally through GVCW. A notification does not reserve or hold an appointment, and notification or booking speed is not guaranteed. Check that the date and centre suit you before completing the official booking.
For optional notifications on the Manchester route, start a Greece Visa Alerts appointment search. Then use GVCW’s portal to book and follow the provider’s application instructions.
